The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) brings out the very best in our students, developing their subject knowledge, global understanding, and essential attributes, values, and skills.
At Beau Soleil, our 11 to 16-year-olds follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP).
The MYP is a challenging but highly rewarding curriculum that encourages students to make connections between their studies and real-world experiences. It provides an outstanding academic education, with learning taught through eight subject groups. The MYP also develops important attitudes, skills, and values.
Moving through the programme, our Grade 6 to 10 students discover and develop their strengths, learn by doing, seize new opportunities, and gain a strong sense of personal identity. They also explore global issues, becoming creative, critical, and reflective thinkers.
By focusing on broader skill development and cross-curricular knowledge, our MYP learners can begin to shape their own journey to success at Diploma level and beyond.
